Der SystemTera.Server VC does not have analog and digital inputs.

 SystemTera.Server V and VC bus objects

On a SystemTera.Server V the following bus objects can be configured and connected:
  • USB 1:  Connection of USB devices
  • USB 2: Enables connection of USB devices as USB 1
    • <As USB 1>
  • RS232:Enables connection of RS232 Devices
  • RS485: Enables connection of RS485 Busses
    • ModBus – RTU Master: SystemTera.Server V is ModBus RTU masters and enables the connection of up to 250 ModBus RTU Slaves at RS485.
      • ModBus RTU Device: Any ModBus RTU slaves at RS485 bus with generic configuration.
      • EAP FBA 2DI.4PT.6DO: Ready configuration for EAP field bus devices with 2 digital in, 2 inputs for a PT1000 and 6 digital out puts at RS485 bus
      • SystemTera.MIO O10-1: Ready configuration for SystemTera.MIO IO extension at RS485
      • SystemTera.Controller: Connection of a SystemTera.Controllers with importabe configuration.
    • ModBus – RTU Slave: SystemTera.Server V is ModBus RTU slaves and offers its data points to the ModBus RTU master, which can be another SystemTera.Server V or other device
  • Ethernet: Enables connection to any IP based network.
    • ModBus IP-RTU Gateway: Integration of ModBus devices to the already configured ModBus-Master via IP based network.
    • KNX IP-Twisted Pair Gateway: This is not supported on SystemTera.Server V
    • ModBus – IP Master: Der SystemTera.Server V is ModBus IP masters and any count of  ModBus slaves can be connected via IP based network.
    • ModBus – IP Slave: Der SystemTera.Server V is ModBus IP slaves and offers its data points to the ModBus IP master.
    • SystemTera.Cloud: Enables connection to SystemTera.Cloud
  • Inputs (not available on SystemTera.Server VC): Enables connection of up to 10 input devices directly on SystemTera.Server V
    • Digital input: Up to 8 digital inputs can be connected.
    • PT 1000: Up to 2 PT 1000 temperature sensors can be connected
    • Pulse counter: Up to 8 pulse counter can be connected
  • Outputs (not available on SystemTera.Server VC): Allows switching of up to 2 devices directly.
    • Digital Out: Up to 2 digital outputs can be switched and n/o, com and n/c connectors are supplied.
  • KNX (two-tier addressing): Enables integration of a SystemTera.Server V into the KNX Bus to steer any given data point in the KNX Bus. The two-tier configuration can be imported from the ETS project file.
    • Main group: This is the first tier in the adresses of KNX data points. In these main groups single data points can be contained:

      • ± 1-Byte Integer
      • Status Mode
      • + 2-Byte Integer
      • ± 2-Byte Integer
      • 2-Byte Floating-Point Number

      • DPT Data Access
      • String (max. 14 Chars.)

  • KNX (three-tier addressing): Enables integration of a SystemTera.Server V into the KNX Bus to steer any given data point in the KNX Bus. The configuration can be imported from te ETS project file.

      • Group: This is the first tier in the addresses of KNX data points. In such groups data poins are contained.

The bus object KNX can be used either with 2-tier or 3-tier addressing. A mixture of both of these models is NOT possible!
